- In the Tier- I examination the questions will come from different sections like reasoning, general intelligence, comprehension and quantitive analysis. In Tier- I negative markings of 0.5 are present for every incorrect answer. The total number of questions will be 100 carrying 200 marks.

The Tier-II examination of SSC CGL 2022 is divided on the basis of four sections. They are Statistics, Quantitative Ability, English Language and Comprehension and General Studies. For each section, 2 hours is allotted by the conducting commission. A hundred questions are given in the sections of Statistics, Quantitive Ability and General Studies. Only for English Language and Comprehension 200 questions are given to the candidates. The total marks for each section are 200.

The Tier-III examination is conducted in the pen and paper mode where an English composition will come. It can be on any contemporary social topic. The candidates are expected to write it in a generic manner. The total time allotted for this examination is 1 hour.
