Only for English Language and Comprehension 200 questions are given to the candidates. The total marks for each section are 200.

• The Tier-III examination is conducted in the pen and paper mode where an English composition will come. It can be on any contemporary social topic. The candidates are expected to write it in a generic manner. The total time allotted for this examination is 1 hour.

• In the Tier- IV of the SSC CGL Exam, the candidates need to face the skill test examination and the computer proficiency test. The candidate needs to write 200 words in 15 minutes. He will also be tested upon his efficiency in working with a spreadsheet, word software and slide generation software.

Selection Procedure
